Is it a bird? is it a plane? No it's a star! 

Remember those bright shining things in the sky? If you live in the city like me you probably don't. Think about the last time you saw a bright starry sky, can't remember? That's the case for most people.

Most of you're probably pointing a finger at global warming, but that's not actually the cause.(well not the entire cause) With all the bright city lights your eyes are so accustomed too, it's hard to catch sight of the small twinkling stars high above.
So when you just happen to take a road trip to the country side you'll want to make sure you stay overnight. Because honestly speaking the full view night sky is breathtaking!As generations pass and technology develops I find that many (not all but many) people loose interest in  nature - not that I blame them, even I'm glued to the TV screen when a new episode of jersey shore is on - and many of the simplest things life has to offer. So push yourselves a bit! Start with something as easy as birdwatching and move on to more elaborate activities.If you plan on heading out sometime soon the closest predicted meteorite shower happens November 11-12th 2010,  12:00-1:00 will be the best time to catch some shooting stars.

Long time no see!

Hello Everyone! It's Cinderstar C : 

And yes, she is very well aware that you must all be furious with her for not being on in SUCH A LONG time!

And as usual I'm REALLY sorry about that : C

But of course you all know that I have a habit of doing this kind of stuff, I mean I've never exactly been the type who could stay committed for long C ;

But any who, i'm back (not forever of course, i'd never make such a useless promise to all of you) for a while...

Yes, yes I know how much more vaguer could I be? Well you see I still go to public school and I still have all that crappy drama, the diabolical teachers and the backstabbing (something that rhymes with Itches) so I can never guarantee my stay! But this year I do have easier classes so the homework load isn't to harsh (like last year when I had almost ALL of my academic classes in one semester ) 

So I do have breaks and when I'm not doing homework, writing, listening to music, drawing, socializing, face-booking, repeatedly checking the fridge, begging my mother for a cellphone or reading I'll try to come onto Cinderstar's blog and post some interesting stuff (:

Until then i'm making a few changes here and there to make the blog more efficient for me and everyone else.

Now before I leave I'll post a few pretty pictures all about fall (since it's my favorite season of the year)

Free Background

So this is my first try at making a background with photoshop, And I have to say I'm quite pleased. Photoshop's a lot better than the other programe I used to make backgrounds (for those of you who are wondering it was corel painters essentials three.) I have Adobe photoshop CS4 version 11.0 .And so far I LOVE IT. There are a-lot of options and I havent used them all yet, i've just explored the basics. Anyway's here's the background:

Confusion...

Okay so, I hae adobe photoshop ( I knew this before but forgot -.-" I got it for free with my computer and I didnt remeber, and recently I need adobe photoshop prgrame for school so I asked my resource who works at a computer programming place to get me one and they said yas :) So I was browsing through my comp an dsaw "adobe photoshop elements 5.0" anD i THINK "OMG". So I have adobe and I also have NO CLUE how to sue it, I was going to go through a online tutorial but After I saw all those page.... well you get the idea. I know that some of my blogger friends have adobe photoshop (don't knwo which one) so I was hoping that maybe you guys could help me?? Since i'm still getting the new version (7.0 I think...) it's okay if you have that one. I'd really like your help!! Pleaseeee!!!

Mothers day!!

Oh yes finally the time of year has come!! Mothers day! :)
Lost on ideas? Don't know what to do? Well try using these tips !!

1. I made a button of a sort for my Mommy :)
And i'm going to email the link to her. Along with this as the text :
If you want you can do somthing like this i'm sure your mother would
love it! And if she (like my mom) is used to working with computers she might even
put a use to it!!

The first ones the text of the e-mail and the second the button :)

(BTW: these are both copyrighted, don't take them, I'm sure you mother would prefer somthing actually made by YOU not ME :)

2. A old fashioned home made card is the one of the best gifts of all. It really shows that you took time in making it, even if your mother dosen't reveal much of her emotions (like mine -.-") She'll know that you worked hard on it and it will DEFINETLY make her day. Now even if you lack any artistic capability ( Like if you draw a turtle and some one says "wow, your soccer ball looks demented" then thats you) just take a piece of paper and write down how you feel about her, if you really want a picture in there print it out. Or even make the whole card on the computer (it's really easy to do on microsoft word; they even have templates)

3. If you can't think of a single thing tell you mom! Say somthing along these lines " Happy mothers day mom. Listen I tried really hard but I couldn't think of ANYTHING, i'm so sorry so is there anything special you want? " guarantied your mom will say "no, thank you sweetie" (mom's are annoying like that) if she does just say okay and be SUPER nice to her all day. Before dinner set the table, get her a glass of water instead of her having to get it, make conversation with her every second you get to! She'll be happy! Trust me :)

4. Your last choice should be going to the store and buying somthing especially somthing like jewlery, flowers and such. Although you mean well, your present should be somthign deeper from the heart (although if you by her a 150$ gucci bag im sure she wouldn't be unhappy, well maybe a bit annoyed that you used so much money on her...)

If you have any other tips comment and tell me!! You can even share your mother's day stories if you want! Good luck getting the perfect present!!

Hello! Long time no see, sorry about my inactivity the past little while, I had a HUGE project to do and I wasn't able to come on that often :(  But the project is finally over! (and I think me and shinestar will be getting an A on it! :) so I'm back. Let's move on to buisness, here is sparklestar's button!

Bloggers Against animal Cruelty

I'm sure all of you have at least once seen those sad TV commercials with those cute animals and felt like crying, then if you ever cross by them again you quickly change the channel so as to not feel sad. But when you are with your friends having fun or crying about how your life sucks do you ever stop to think about all those poor animals feel? What kind of condition their living in? For most of you the honest answer would be "no". Well that's pretty selfish, mean, cruel, devilish and human of you. It's in human nature to be self-absorbed, but even so now you can change that. Bloggers Against Animal Cruelty is an amazing blog dedicated to all those poor animals with no home! So why not go over and take a peek  and maybe even stay a while to read some of their amazing posts, it's worth your time, trust me. Animals are living creatures as well, "The question is not, "Can they reason?" nor, "Can they talk?" but rather, "Can they suffer?" ~Jeremy Bentham"

Great question!

Well the thing is that you cannot post HTML directly on blogger posts. Infact you have to put the HTML in a text box. Now the problem is that I cannot find the proper HTML to make a text box (it's more confusing than it looks, and thats saying somthing since it looks quite confusing...). Now i've been hoping to ask SOMEONE who is familiar with HTML to give me the code for a text box or even a way to post the HTML without it.. and so far no luck :(

So right now if you wish to use one of my layouts you'll have to ask me to mail the HTML to you :(

I'm quite sorry for the inconvinience, i'll fix this problem as soon as possible :)
